       Tiny Tot Tuesday (Every Tuesday)
       *From now on Tuesday will be Tiny Tot Tuesday at Clay Cup Studios! Bring your child in and for only $10 they can paint their very own tot.  Tiny Tot Tuesday

       Children's Art Glass 3-5pm & 5-7pm (Jan 15th-May 13th - Every Friday)
       *For children ages 6-14! Cost is $20 per class; art supplies and snacks provided. Tremont Gallery will be offering these every Friday afternoon with a different theme each class.   Children's Art Class

       Galveston’s Own Farmers Market 9-1pm  (Every Sunday)

       Zombie Apocalypse Hike 3:30-4:30pm
       *Have you wondered about your abilities to live in the wild, such as after an apocalyptic event?The park is going to talk about the basic skills needed to find food, water, shelter, and space in our short (somewhat humorous) program. It will begin at the Nature Center and travel to find the necessary items for survival.

       *Nothing is more fun than spending quality time with your family. This months project is handprints. This includes project, food for family and drinks. Make sure to RSVP - only have 11 spots for family date night! Cost for the class is $40.   Family Date Night

National Marine Fisheries Services

       Ocean Discovery Day 9am-3pm
       *FREE!! See some sea turtles, coral reefs, learn about dolphins, lots of fun activities for kids of all ages!  Ocean Discovery Day

Ferry/Fort Travis 
       Hike it Baby Houston - Fort Travis Hike 10am-12pm
       *Join Hike it Baby on the ferry from Galveston to Bolivar Peninsula, then take a short drive to explore Fort Travis Seashore Park. Please plan to arrive at the Galveston Ferry Landing (at the end of Ferry Road on Galveston Island) at 10:00am. Once on Bolivar, drive a short distance on State Hwy 87 to Fort Travis Seashore Park. Meet in the park in front of Battery Kimble (located at the end of 10th Street) where we will do our welcome circle. Remember - you must sign online waiver before participating in Hike it Baby hikes! You only have to sign it once!    Hike it Baby

       Ice Age: No Time for Nuts 4-D OPENS 10am-6pm
       *New 4D Movie at Moody Gardens Opens! Scrat, the manic saber-toothed squirrel is yet on another one of his endless journeys to retrieve his beloved acorn.    Ice Age 4D

Galveston Island Brewing 
       Hawaii Luau Party 12pm-10pm
       *Grab your Hawaiian shirt or grass skirts & coconut bras and head over to the brewery for a fun filled day of food, music, games. There will be traditional Hawaiian Plates for purchase! Also they will have lots of gun games for the kids including pineapple bowling and coconut bean bag toss. Adult and kid Contests include a limbo contest and hula-hooping contest! Holy Family Parish Catholic Church
       St. Patrick's Day Festival 12-10pm
       *This event is free and open to the public! It starts at 12pm and goes all the way until 10pm at night! During the day there is a children's corner with moonwalk, balloon pop, ring toss, fishing, plinko, bean bag toss and train ride!   Festival   

Hendley Green
       Games at The Green 4-6pm
       *Galveston Historical Foundation’s Hendley Green Park will have a new event called “Games on The Green." Free to the public and available from 4-6 p.m., a variety of yard games, music and entertainment will be available for park patrons.   Games at The Green

Saengerfest Park
Music Nite on the Strand 6-9pm

       Bay Walk 10-11:00am  
       *Tours start at the Nature Learning Center and are led by volunteers from the Galveston Bay Area TX Master Naturalist. Come join the fun of seining, finding out more about fiddler crabs and experience all the bay has to offer.
