I can't believe we are heading into December! It seems as if this year flew by. This week will be lots of fun! Monday night Rosenberg Library is having an Arctic Friends theme for family night. And make sure you stop by through the week for the Holiday Story Countdown! If you haven't seen the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens yet, Thursday is a great day since it is Food Drive Thursday! Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a special two-for-one admission discount. Friday night is Lights of Love at Ronald McDonald House of Galveston and Dickens on the Strand kicks off as well and runs through Sunday! On Saturday, build a gingerbread house at Home Depot, catch a performance of "A Christmas Carol", or take a Full Moon Hike at Galveston Island State Park! *Come be a kid with your kids and let your infants and toddlers enjoy some sensory activities while creating fun and cute pieces of art. The class is over in 2 hours, but the memories will last a lifetime! Call to reserve a space, $20 per class, all art supplies, snacks and drinks included.

Sea Star Base Galveston

*Get a fresh start to the day and set sail on the Galveston Sea Scout Base's schooner boat during "Schooner Sundays." Watch the pelicans soar over Offatts Bayou as you head into the Intercostal Waterway and pass under the Galveston Causeway Bridge. Be awed at the marine cargo vessels maneuvering in the Galveston and Houston Ship Channels. Dolphins surfacing are always exciting! Departing from and returning to the Sea Scout Base Galveston.
