What a fun weekend it was! I hope you were able to take advantage of the great events that the island had! If your child is interested in the performance at The Grand Kids Festival this weekend, open auditions are Monday night for Aladdin. Through the week are your normal reoccurring activities and then the weekend is packed full again! As I mentioned, The Grand Kids Festival is this weekend and it is such an amazing time! It is one of my favorite events on the island. The Evia Spring Market is also on Saturday and it always has a bounce house for the kids! Movie Nite on the Strand will be playing Ferris Bueller's Day Off on Saturday evening. Sounds like a fun week!
In Galveston Island Kids news, I am currently working on your Easter Egg Hunt list and Summer Camp list. Please send me any info you have on Island Easter Egg Hunts or Summer Camps. Thank you! Also, the Facebook page is getting closer and closer to 1,000 likes! Remember, I'm giving away TWO amazing prizes when I get there! But I need your help! Tell any islanders and off islanders you come across to follow Galveston Island Kids so I can get to 1,000 likes! Once I'm there, I'll let you know about the prizes and how to enter to win. Don't worry, I'll make it super easy!! And last but not least, I'm toying with the idea of a newsletter. It would be similar to the weekly rundown with some extra fun things added in and sent directly to your email. Please let me know if it is something you would be interested in so I can gauge if there is enough interest to start one!!
