        Boogie with Baby 12pm (Every Saturday)
        *Boogie with Baby is a fitness class with your baby in a carrier! Sounds so fun! Class will be every Saturday at noon and the cost is $10.71 (includes tax).   Boogie with Baby

Clay Cup Studios
       Tiny Tot Tuesday (Every Tuesday)
       *From now on Tuesday will be Tiny Tot Tuesday at Clay Cup Studios! Bring your child in and for only $10 they can paint their very own tot.  Tiny Tot Tuesday

Tremont Gallery Galveston
       Children's Art Class 3-5pm & 5-7pm (Jan 15th-May 13th - Every Friday)
       *For children ages 6-14! Cost is $20 per class; art supplies and snacks provided. Tremont Gallery will be offering these every Friday afternoon with a different theme each class.   Children's Art Class

       Galveston’s Own Farmers Market 9-1pm (Sun) & 3-7pm (Thurs) (Every Sunday & Thursday)
      *Pick up some local produce and help support local farmers and growers. They usually have a kids corner here and an artist playing some tunes.  Farmers Market **Thursday market doesn't start until April 21st**

Sea Scout Base Galveston
       Schooner Sundays 2-5pm (Every Sunday)
       *Get a fresh start to the day and set sail on the Galveston Sea Scout Base’s schooner boat during “Schooner Sundays.” The massive sailing beauty leaves Offats Bayou just after noon each Sunday and sails out to destinations beyond Galveston causeway. A licensed captain and “spot tracker” is aboard the ship, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. *Check with website for cost involved*  Schooner Sundays

UTMB Levin Hall
       Mini Medical School 6-8pm - Cardiovascular System
       *For those who have always wanted to know more about how the body takes in oxygen and expels carbon dioxide, how the body fights off infections, or how blood circulates throughout the body, among other topics, The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is hosting a Mini Medical School. A series of seven lectures beginning on March 23 will cover topics such as the respiratory system, the immune system, the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, the digestive system and health equity. All classes will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. at UTMB’s Levin Hall, 1006 Market Street, Galveston. The series is free, open to those 16 and older and those interested can attend one or all sessions. But space is limited and registration is required. The registration deadline is March 16. Evia
       Evia Coffee Stroll - Hike it Baby 9-11am
       *Come meet up at beautiful Evia neighborhood in Galveston. The hike will meet at Sugar Bean and walk around pond to very cool pirate ship playground! The walk will be next to the street in some places but there is only few cars driving by very slowly. It’s a toddler led walk around 1mile long. You can purchase snacks, coffee, smoothies at the coffee shop or bring your own lunch! Please bring sun lotion and/or bug repellent. Pirate ship park is fantastic fenced little playground with tree house, swings, fort, slide etc.  Evia Stroll

       Homeschool Kids 2-3pm
       *Into the Dirt: Get close up and personal with the master gardener-The Earthworm. Observe the earthworm-- learn how they move, what they eat and why they are important to our gardens. Create a terrarium and take one home as a pet.  GCM Calendar

       Crawfish Crazy Weekend 11am
       *Live Zydeco music and Crawfish all weekend! $10 crawfish platters (almost 2lbs) and that includes corn and potatoes!  Crazy Crawfish Weekend

      *Before the Gritty Goddess kicks off they have a Gritty Kids 1 Mile Obstacle/Mud Run! If you have a kid that loves to run or race, this will be tons of fun for them! Kids Mud Run

Sea Scout Base Galveston
      US Sailing REACH on the Weekends 9am-5pm
       *Throughout the month of April, utilize sailing as an educational platform, challenge youth to embrace education, establish a love of learning and explore productive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) based careers. Combining educators, sailing instructors, engineers, scientists with today’s youth to provide them with a one of a kind authentic learning experience, giving students the opportunity to apply classroom learning in a cooperative work environment.
This is a month long program for youth whose schedules are open during the weekends. It is a full day program during the month of April. Each Saturday teaches two different sailing concepts over the five week program. Ages: 14-18, must be a High School student or a previous student in our REACH program. Time: 9 - 5pm Cost: $400 for 5 weeks Bring your own lunch and water bottle! Galveston Island State Park

       Sandy Yoga 8:30am
       *Join Ranger Lisa on a short morning yoga session at the day-use area of our beach (just down the boardwalk from the restrooms and picnic tables.) Bring your water bottle and yoga mat or towel, but be prepared for sandy toes!  Great for campers or adults wishing to come into the park for the day!
       Go Fish! Learn to Fish Event 9am-12pm
       *Come learn how to fish with fun hands on activities for families of all ages! No experience or equipment needed and no fishing licenses required for this event. There is an entrance fee for the state park but the Go Fish event is no additional cost.
       Beach Exploration 10-11:30am  
       *Walks led by Galveston Bay Area Texas Master Naturalists - come and make memories with your family and friends.   
       Birding 101 2:30-3:30pm
       *Ranger Lisa invites you to join us on a brief birding orientation and hike, to discover some of the great opportunities on Galveston. Awesome program for scouts, families, and anyone interested in learning more about our feathered friends.  You will discuss identification, field skills, listing, and why this island is a birding paradise!
       Paint Party 4:30-5:30pm
       *Let the beauty found in Galveston Island State Park inspire you to pick up a brush and lay down some color. Create a one-of-a-kind souvenir, and make some memories with Ranger Lisa. 

Sea Scout Base Galveston
       M/V Baysmart Express Public Cruise 12:30-4pm
       *Looking for something FUN? Hop aboard the M/V Baysmart Express for a 3 hour informative and scenic tour! Watch the pelicans soar over Offatts Bayou as you head into the Intercostal Waterway and pass under the Galveston Causeway Bridge. Be awed at the marine cargo vessels maneuvering in the Galveston and Houston Ship Channels. Dolphins surfacing are always exciting! Departing from and returning to the Sea Scout Base Galveston. Boarding at 12:30 - Departing at 1:00pm. Overflow parking with shuttle service available. Adults: $30 | Kids (Under 12): $20 | Kids 5 and Under: Free  SSB Calendar

       Veteran Surf Day 10am
       *Gulf Coast Center Military Veteran Peer Network brings you Veteran Surf Day with Southern Spears Surf Shop, Waves of Impact and Billabong. Military Members, Veterans and their families can join us for a fun filled day of surfing. They will have all the surfboards, equipment, veteran peers and volunteers to ensure you will have the ride of your life! Come and check it out!  Veteran Surf Day

       Celebratory Parade - Shriners 50 Years 1:30pm
       *You are invited to the hospital's Legacy of Love 50th Anniversary Celebration!  They are very excited about this celebration and would like you to join them in the festivities to commemorate this milestone for the hospital! Kid Friendly Events: Celebratory Parade: Join together as they march through Galveston’s Famous Strand District!  Parade

       Bay Exploration 10-11:00am  
       *Tours start at the Nature Learning Center and are led by volunteers from the Galveston Bay Area TX Master Naturalist. Come join the fun of seining, finding out more about fiddler crabs and experience all the bay has to offer.
