Weekly Events & Activities Jan 1st-7th
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We are kicking off 2018 with lots of fun camps this week and some great events! There are camps at Galveston Children's Museum, Clay Cup Studios, and Winter Sea Camp at TAMUG. On the 1st, check out First Day Tower Hike or Full Moon Hike at Galveston Island State Park. On Wednesday, Rosenberg Library is having Wild Things Zoofari Petting Zoo! Also The Grand is celebrating their 123rd birthday with an open house! The Kitchen Chick has kids cooking classes on Wednesday and Thursday. Galveston Restaurant Week starts on Saturday. You can also check out Saturday Stories at Rosenberg Library or 12th Night of Christmas Celebration at Moody Mansion. On Sunday, Galveston Symphony Orchestra is having a New Year kick off concert. And remember, this is your last week to head out to The Festival of Lights and Ice Sculptures at Moody Gardens! Here's to a great 2018 filled with lots of fun family friendly events!!!

*Come be a kid with your kids and let your infants and toddlers enjoy some sensory activities while creating fun and cute pieces of art. The class is over in 2 hours, but the memories will last a lifetime! Call to reserve a space, $20 per class, all art supplies, snacks and drinks included.

Sea Star Base Galveston
Schooner Sundays 11-5pm (Every Sunday)
*Get a fresh start to the day and set sail on the Galveston Sea Scout Base's schooner boat during "Schooner Sundays." *Looking for something FUN? Hop aboard the M/V Baysmart Express for a 3 hour informative and scenic tour! Watch the pelicans soar over Offatts Bayou as you head into the Intercostal Waterway and pass under the Galveston Causeway Bridge. Be awed at the marine cargo vessels maneuvering in the Galveston and Houston Ship Channels. Dolphins surfacing are always exciting! Departing from and returning to the Sea Scout Base Galveston.
