Mardi Gras winds down this week and I hope everyone had a fun, happy, and safe Mardi Gras! Tuesday is your last chance for a Mardi Gras parade as the festivities conclude with the Mystic Krewe of Aquarius 21st Annual Fat Tuesday Parade. Saturday is super busy with Home Depot Workshop, Zombie Apocalypse Hike at Galveston Island State Park, Artwalk and more! Sunday is the start of the Mommy & Child Art Classes at From the HeART Gallery! Those will be happening the first Sunday of each month.
March is a busy month here in Galveston! I'll be working on inputting everything in the next two days so the March calendar will be ready to go for you on the 1st. Mommy & Me Classes 3-5pm (First Sunday of Every Month)
*Come be a kid with your kids and let your infants and toddlers enjoy some sensory activities while creating fun and cute pieces of art. The class is over in 2 hours, but the memories will last a lifetime! Call to reserve a space, $20 per class, all art supplies, snacks and drinks included.

Sea Scout Base Galveston
Schooner Sundays 11-5pm (Every Sunday)
*Get a fresh start to the day and set sail on the Galveston Sea Scout Base's schooner boat during "Schooner Sundays." The massive sailing beauty leaves Offats Bayou just after noon each Sunday and sails out to destinations beyond Galveston causeway. M/V Baysmart Express Public Cruise 12:30-4pm (Every Saturday)
*Looking for something FUN? Hop aboard the M/V Baysmart Express for a 3 hour informative and scenic tour! Watch the pelicans soar over Offatts Bayou as you head into the Intercostal Waterway and pass under the Galveston Causeway Bridge. Be awed at the marine cargo vessels maneuvering in the Galveston and Houston Ship Channels. Dolphins surfacing are always exciting! Departing from and returning to the Sea Scout Base Galveston.
