Beachfront Baby Wrap Review

Hey Island Moms and Dads! Here is a short review on the Beachfront Baby Wrap! Living on the island, we are either at the beach or pool/waterpark almost year round, so a water wrap is something we all can probably use at some point! Although there are affiliate links in the review, I wrote the review based on the fact that I bought one and thought you might like to hear what it's all about!

So I have 2 little girls, an almost 3 year old and a 2 month old. (Now almost 4 year old and 14 month old) Last summer, me and my first born loved going to Palm Beach! We have a Moody Gardens membership and Palm Beach is included and it is the best thing ever. It was just me and her, so I could chase after my little runner with the greatest of ease. As soon as I found out I was pregnant again, one of my first thoughts was "How am I going to do Palm Beach with a baby and toddler who loves to run?" So I went to Amazon and started searching waterproof carriers. It was the only feasible way in my mind to even attempt it! Enter the Beachfront Baby Wrap!

The Beachfront Baby Wrap is a mesh wrap available in 13 different colors. It also comes in 3 different sizes: regular one size, petite, and X-long. I chose Coral Sea in petite since I'm short and tiny. The petite just has less fabric and the X-long has more fabric.  The Beachfront Baby Wrap retails for $39.99 on Amazon (though X-long is $5 more). The fabric is a nice and sturdy, but lightweight mesh. Which means that it can get wet and dries fast. It comes with instructions, but wraps like your other standard wraps (Moby etc). But since I've never wrapped before (I use my Ergo for everyday use) I needed the instructions and a youtube video to show me how. It is super easy!!

Me and my two month old in the wrap

As far as wearing it goes - it's pretty comfy and I felt like my baby girl was wrapped up pretty good in it.  However, it's a slicker fabric so once I got in the water, I could feel it give a bit and still held my hand under her butt for the most part. It does not give as much back support as my Ergo, but I wasn't expecting it too. My baby girl seemed quite comfy in there, though I think she is more comfy in the Ergo. Though she can't tell me which one she likes better and falls asleep in both, so who really knows - ha!

In the water

The fabric does not have any extra sun protection other than what the fabric provides. You can wear this wrap out of the water and I would recommend it if you didn't have to carry the baby very long. It's a good alternative to have in the Texas heat for a cooler wrap, as the Ergo can get pretty hot! Overall, it works great for the purpose I intend to use it for. I simply needed something to take my baby into the water so I can watch my toddler. So Galveston parents - go grab one if you have a similar predicament! :-) Feel free to message on Facebook or email me with any specific questions you have! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing one, but all in all - I'm glad I bought it!
